Autumn G. Quigley is a freelance illustrator working and living in the Pacific Northwest. Inspired by nature and folkways, her work seeks to examine human’s relationship with and within the natural world. Her pieces can hold layers of meaning and story often built up through found materials, collaged texts and handmade ink allowing the narratives carried by the materials themselves to inform the work. She believes that art can inform our connection to place and the stories we use to understand our own position within the world.

Her work for children draws from her own childhood in the woods populated by stories, imaginings and the more-than-human world.

She has BFA from Emily Carr University of Art and Design with an emphasis in illustration and a BA in Creative Writing from Western Washington University.
